Jannelle Bahn moved to Grants Pass, Oregon from Thousand Oaks, California when she was 10 years old. She graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1992. After moving around the country and attending various colleges, she graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education.
Jannelle has been married to her husband, Michael, since 1995 and has three children: Michael Austin, Adriana, and Alesia. She homeschooled her children for 11 years before enrolling them in traditional school. Both Adriana and Alesia currently attend New Hope Christian School. Her family actively pursues music, theater, dance, and other artistic endeavors. Jannelle has volunteered with many organizations including Financial Peace University, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and the Boys and Girls Club. She is currently a volunteer with ACT (Abolish Child Trafficking) Southern Oregon and is trained through Precept Ministries to teach inductive Bible studies.
In her free time, Jannelle enjoys reading, exploring nature, biking, learning, playing Zelda, spending time with her family, and solving math problems. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 43:1-2, “But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.””
