Emergency Data & Parent Volunteer Forms  If you haven’t done so, please turn in the emergency forms to the school office immediately. This information is very important for the office to have on file.   

Also, if you haven’t returned your volunteer form, please do so. The Auction was not added to the list, so include this if you can assist in the basic organizing.

Lunch Assistance Needed  Assistance is still needed for this beneficial program, especially on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please contact Gretchen York (home phone, 474-7341, or school, 476-4588) if you can assist for one or more lunch hours.

Classroom Parent Assistants  We have great help in a number of classes. NEEDED: Parent or grandparent help in 5^th and 6^th grades.

The Maple Floor Has Been Laid!  If you can, come take a peek and marvel at the goodness of the Lord that we are able to have this done! Everyone will benefit from this project.

Europe Trip Meeting  Next Tuesday, 9/25, at 7:00 pm, there will be a meeting in room 17 for all the students currently signed up and those who are thinking of signing up for this spring’s Europe trip.

Moms In Touch  This vital mothers’ prayer time is scheduled for each Wednesday, 8:00 – 9:00 a.m., meeting in room 6.

Sign Up for Music Classes

• Taking music lessons usually takes strong parent promotion to practice and stay the course.
• Music not only benefits the performer, but it can greatly bless others and the Lord.
• We have two tremendous music teachers.  Let’s take every advantage of their presence at New Hope for class instruction as well as for private lessons.

Observatory T-shirts  Help us get the school’s name out into Grants Pass and neighboring communities. Enable yourselves to be an advertisement for the school when wearing our newest New Hope t-shirt. These t-shirts are colorful; on the front, they feature a beautiful sky/star picture captured on film one evening this past year with the phrase “Touching the stars….” The back has the verse Psalm 19:1 stated – “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.” You can get these t-shirts in the school office for only $10 each. They range in size from children’s small through adult x-large.

Half-day on October 3^rd  On Wednesday, October 3^rd, we will have a half-day of school due to the teachers leaving to attend the ACSI Convention in Portland. School will be dismissed at 11:50 for the elementary grades and 12:05 for the secondary. (Also, no school 10/4 and 10/5.)

Spiritual Emphasis Retreat  Most of our high school students and many of the staff are at Fir Point today and tomorrow for their annual retreat. Please pray for the Lord’s blessing on them as they meet together.
