Blessed to Have Great Basic Life-Saving Instruction

In today’s world with damaging false teachings all around us regarding sexual purity, it is great to still have freedoms in the Christian school to teach Biblical purity and other essentials of life. One of our many attempts to positively teach this will be the Stop and Think presentations by Amanda Bates each day during the week of April 21st for the 9th and 12th graders.

Stop and Think is an abstinence presentation that allows students to evaluate why abstinence until marriage is the safest and healthiest choice. They will be looking at how sexual abstinence can help them accomplish their goals in life. The students will be looking at what their influences are saying about sex, and why they are communicating these messages. They will also look at the pros and cons of sexual activity and sexual abstinence. By the end of the presentation, students understand why waiting is the best choice.

Additional leadership training – Each Thursday, April 17 to May 22, the library will be used by Youth for Christ to train some of our high school students for leadership in campus ministry at New Hope.

Summer International Student Host Family Ministry – This is a great potential to touch lives of international students. A stipend of $500/month will be given to assist with your hosting.  Contact Alan Main at 659-1664 for details.
