This Saturday, October 14^th, Work Day

• Four men are planning to install double pane windows into rooms 2 & 5.  We might install twice as many windows IF we have additional helpers….  So far we have replaced 15 of the 38 windows.
• Other needs are painting and yard work

Playground Work Days 

Our 3^rd Work Weekend is planned for:

• Veterans Day, Friday, November 10^th
• Saturday, November 11^th

Our major focus will be playground improvements, but window replacement and help in other areas will still be welcomed.  Helpers will be served a continental breakfast at 7:30 – 8:15 a.m. on Friday and a pancake breakfast for the same time on Saturday.

Kids Zone –

• This Friday night, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. 
• The cost is $5.00/child for ages 5-13. 
• 50% of the proceeds goes back to your school. 
• If you have questions, call parent Sabrina Johnson, 761-7308, who has lined up this excellent activity once/month for our younger students. 

Rummage for Harvest Festival  This year we do not have the manpower nor the storage space to pick-up things ahead of time.  IF it is not raining, deliver them to hillside below the flag on Thursday or Friday before our event.

School Dress & Groom        

Help your child keep dress and groom policies.  Especially watch your daughter’s dressing for modesty and your son’s grooming for neatness.

CY Flyer Enclosed  This flyer is inserted with our school items since the CY project started last year with NHC students being selected for the first year’s effort.  Now it is expanding to students of other schools. We ENCOURAGE our NHC parents and students to be involved.

NHCS Housing for Rent to Individuals or Families Totally Compatible With Our School’s Mission and Goals

• Two bedroom, two bath mobile home.
• Travel trailer for one person
• These are restricted rentals since they are a part of the school.  Any adult residing in the spaces must be cleared by an FBI background check, be established in a local church, have a good testimony of following the Lord, and recognize that space must be given to a school staff member when needed by NHCS staff.
• Check regarding additional housing requirements.
