Thanks to the Many Who Help Daily in the Classrooms!  The numbers assisting are really encouraging.

 

Needed:  Christmas Program Helpers

  1. Decorating the school and gym for the Secondary Instrumental Concert, Thursday, December 7th, 7:00 p.m. and the Friday, December 8th, Elementary Christmas Program at 7:00 p.m.
  2. Parents and students to serve drinks and snacks after both programs. 
  3. 3 volunteers - 1 adult and 2 student babysitters for the Thursday Instrumental Concert.
  4. 4 volunteers - 1 adult and 3 student babysitters for the Friday Elementary Christmas Program.
  5. 6 parking lot attendants, 6:15-7:00 p.m. for the Friday Elementary Christmas Program. 
  6. Two volunteers to take charge of the annual staff gift offerings at the December 7th, 8th, and 12th programs.  This includes coordinating some to pass offering containers and two to count and sign for the money received.

 

No Kids Zone December 8th due to

Elementary Christmas Program

 

Christmas Star - Sunday, December 10th, at Redwood Country Church is a presentation by our chief astronomer, Barry Setterfield.  Flyer enclosed.

 

Secondary Choral Concert

Tuesday, December 12th, at River Valley Community Church, 7:00 p.m.

 

Painting Helpers Anyone free within the next several days to help repaint some portions of the inside gym walls?

 

Signature Fundraiser We were extremely low-key in this promotion, but THANKS to you who purchased, I understand that we should receive close to $2,784 toward playground improvements due to your purchases and sales. 

 

Check School Website for Basketball Schedules  Note that schedules frequently change because of weather situations, etc.  ALREADY this week we experienced two weather changes!

 

Reminder for Inclement Weather  If in doubt as to school being in session, check KAJO 1270 AM in the morning, or check our website.  Our decision should be posted by 6:30 a.m.

 

School Swap Shop?

Right after Christmas we may set up a collection place for GOOD items you no longer wish to keep, but may be used by the school or someone from the school.  More details are planned.

 

Storage Buildings by Industrial Arts Class

Contact Michael Lamontagne if you are interested in a student manufactured portable storage unit.

 

Try a Spring Auction?

Some have expressed interest in our having another spring auction.  This could be a combination on-line auction, with an on-site closing physical auction.  This seems to be a growing new trend.  Contact the office if you are interested in being a vital part.  Some training sessions need to be participated in during December or January.

 

Two FREE Organs Need a Home  

 

Travel Trailer for Rent to an Individual  Compatible with School’s Mission and Goals

Restricted rental since this is a part of the school.  Any resident must be cleared by an FBI background check, be established in a local church, have a good testimony of following the Lord, and recognize that space must be given to a school staff member when needed.

 

Campbell Soup Labels – The UPC code must be on the labels you send in to us.
