Revised Bus Schedule

·        Lets Most Students Catch Bus a Little Later in the Morning

·        & Get Delivered to Their Bus Stop Earlier in the Afternoon.

·        See attached schedule taking affect next Monday, November 20^th.

Concerned Youth of Josephine County Entertainment Books

Concerned Youth is a great community outreach, helping the community while training youth to serve. 

·        Last year 60 New Hope students were part of this pilot program.

·        This year about 70 are involved, plus CY is being expanded to include students from public schools.

Concerned Youth is offering Entertainment Books as a fundraiser

·        Offers great discounts at restaurants and many other Oregon businesses.

·        Price is $30

·        Great as gifts

·        Available through many of our secondary students

Playground Equipment

·        10 basketball poles are on order from Pacific Ironworks – these will be put 5 to a side down the playground blacktop.  Backboards and hoops are already on hand.

·        Krauss Craft, Inc. of Merlin has offered to give us some good discounts on a Geo Dome Climber, Dual Airplane Spring Rider, Jumbo Climber, and an Arch Climber for $3,198.15.  Krauss Craft has some additional factory 2nds or discontinued items that they will be showing to us on Monday.

·        How will we pay for these improvements?

o       $3,000 is set aside in account from our previous Signature Fundraising

o       Gifts designated specifically for playground will be extremely helpful.

o       Signature Fundraising packages will again go out on Friday for sales Nov. 17-27^th.  Delivery dates will be December 13^th & 14^th.
