Weather Caused School Closures or Delays

Wow, a record of weather-caused variations!  Following is a description of our weather determinations:

  1. By 6:00 a.m. Three Rivers School District posts on their website and announces on KAJO/KLDR their operational plans for the day based upon weather reports and their road surveys conducted earlier in the morning.
  2. Following their posting of plans, we follow the same pattern by placing our similar plans on KAJO (1270 AM) and on our website.

Academics Affected by Weather Caused School Closures

  1. In our traditional classes, lesson plans must be adjusted and some less material may be taught.
  2. In our SOT program and in our secondary math program, weather closures can actually give students extra time to work on those subjects since they carry their Paces home.  Then if they have transportation, they can arrange to come to school to do extra scoring even though the regular classes are closed.

High School Basketball Games

  • We will post on our website as soon as we can reschedule our recently weather-cancelled high school games.
  • Next scheduled home games are this Friday at North Middle School
