More Opportunities at New Hope Christian School

Accredited through the Northwest Accreditation Commission, an accreditation division of AdvancEd

Being accredited affirms to our families and community that New Hope provides a quality Christian-based education that meets and/or exceeds NWAC standards for accreditation and makes our graduating seniors even more attractive to the college/university of their choice. Accreditation Update.

Jr. K Through High School Traditional Classes

From the littlest of ones to those preparing for graduation, we have the courses and programs that are suited for the needs of your child. Click to view many of our class description.

Music, Drama, Art, and Sports Programs

Both our students and our programs have received recognition for their accomplishments. Our music department includes band, worship band, beginning and advanced strings, and choir. Our drama department performs skits, puppets, and plays. We also offer three levels of Art. Our Cross Country team has seven district championships to their credit, and our Girls’ Basketball team finished second in the district in 2010.

Small Classes For Personalized Attention

Most of our classes average 15 students to 1 teacher. These smaller class sizes provide individual attention for each student to make sure they are getting the most out of the material that is being taught.

Supervised Learning Center

This is a privately funded Learning Center that seeks to assist all students in achieving their potential. The purpose of the center is to give students the opportunity to receive assistance to exceed their current academic level while continuing in their mainstreamed classroom. The program is designed to provide a variety of tools that uniquely fits each student. The Learning Center is for all grades and will be made available during times that are best staffed for students’ needs. Students may come to the center for make up work (including quizzes and tests), research assistance, and study sessions. Find out more about our Learning Center.

College Prep Program and Counseling

For those quickly advancing students, college courses may be taken through DECC (Distant education college courses)  and RCC, and count for dual credit. The college will issue a college credit and New Hope will give a high school credit for the class. All high school level courses must be completed before college level classes may be taken.

Helping kids grow in Godly character

“Equipping for a life that pleases Jesus” is not merely a mission statement, but rather one of the main standards used to evaluate our success. Our hope is that the character and reputation of our students, faculty, and staff precedes the name of New Hope Christian School.

If you are still considering the benefits of having your student attend New Hope, the Christian Law Association has created a simple, yet powerful brochure, “8 Benefits of a Christian Education“ that you might find helpful.
