OUR SECONDARY CHOIR IS PERFORMING IN TONIGHT’S COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS CONCERT:
The Riverside Youth for Christ invites you to come tonight for a free evening of Christmas carols. Our Secondary Choir will join other performers from the community to provide a quality concert! It begins at 7pm at the Grants Pass Performing Arts Center. A special offering will be taken for the ministry of Youth for Christ.
COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID NIGHT:
Parents of students in grades 7-12 are invited to attend the COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID NIGHT tonight @ 7pm, here in the NH Cafeteria. Financial Aid Specialist Hollie Adair will present the “Hows” and “Whys” of college financial aid and scholarships. There will be door prizes and great information!!! Mrs. Ward strongly encourages all senior parents to attend.
DECEMBER PARENT TEACHER FELLOWSHIP MEETING:
Please come out to the next PTF meeting on December 6th at 6:30pm. We want your input and your votes. What changes would you like to see at New Hope? How would you like to see the proceeds from the XChange program spent? Do you have a pet project or something that is on your heart or mind for New Hope? Want to learn more about our teachers? Plan to come Thursday, December 8th, 7pm, to see the choir, band, strings, and drama club perform at our Secondary Christmas Concert here in the gym. You are sure to enjoy the program!
There will be a fellowship and refreshment time following the concert. We are asking each family to bring a dozen cookies. The school will provide the hot chocolate.
ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PROGRAM:
“In Honor of Christmas” will be presented on Friday, December 9th, 7pm, in our NH gym. Each elementary class, as well as the elementary bands, choir, and strings, will be performing. Don’t miss it!

HOST FAMILIES NEEDED:

ATHLETIC CALENDAR:

COLLEGE REP TO VISIT:
The representative from Southern Oregon University will be here next Tuesday during 5th period in room 7. All interested high school students are invited to attend with teacher permission.
CONCESSION/GATE HELP IS NEEDED FOR HIGH SCHOOL HOME BASKETBALL GAMES:
Want to attend basketball games for free admission??? Volunteer to help in the concession stand or at the gate!
LUNCHROOM VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:
If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity, our lunchroom can use a few more volunteers to help out. Contact Gina Yunker through the web site contact form for more information.
BOX TOP/SOUP LABELS CONTEST:
The next contest deadline is January 6th. Please put them in a Baggie or envelope and mark with your name and grade so that your class gets the credit for them. Keep them coming in ~ the next class party may be yours!
2012 AUCTION REQUEST:
Parents, as you are doing your Christmas shopping, please keep the upcoming “Reaching for the Stars Dinner & Auction” in mind. The holiday bargain sales might be a good time for you to pick up an item that can be auctioned off. Every new item donation adds up and lends itself toward having a successful Auction.
