Mrs. Natalie Reebel
I love students, and I love the Word. Teaching at New Hope Christian School has been a tremendous blessing and opportunity to be involved with both. It has been a great joy for me to be able to serve students here since 1999 through the various subjects, classes, and activities.
My original training in Bible study methods took place at Precept Ministries in Chattanooga, TN, in the early 1990s. In the last few years, I also participated in the TAH (Teaching American History) grant program. This experience allowed me to learn from a variety of US History professors from all over the country, participate in an educational trip on the east coast led by historians, and attend a seminar at Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
I enjoy cooking and formerly owned a food-based small business. I also test and review recipes for an international website.
I have been married to Rick (a great guy) for 28 years, have 4 children (all of which have attended and graduated from New Hope), and 3 grandchildren. Currently, I am involved in a Bible teaching ministry at my church, and occasionally have other opportunities at conferences and retreats to teach as well.
Teaching at New Hope Christian School has been more than a job, more than a career, more than a ministry. It has been an experience shared with those who have become more than family, as well as an opportunity to watch our great and awesome God at work in the lives of staff and students alike. Romans 11:33-36 would describe it best,
“Oh, the depth of the riches both of wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has known the mind of Lord, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to Him again? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.”
