Mrs. Emily Hillier

This is my third year at New Hope. I moved to Grants Pass from Austin, Texas. I have worked with young children for over 9 years and felt the Lord calling me here! I am married to Timothy Hillier, a New Hope alumnus.

I am happy to teach Junior Kindergarten at New Hope! I am also very fortunate to have my husband helping me in the classroom 3 mornings a week! We both love coming, playing, and learning with your kiddos.

I have my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and am planning on graduating with my Bachelors in Child Development and Family Studies in the spring of 2014. After graduating, I also plan to become Oregon State Certified for Preschool.

The verse that I consider to be my life verse is Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This is a great verse to live by and a great reminder that we are in good hands.
